Contemporary Arts


Graduate Certificate - Graduate Diploma - Masters

The Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma and Master of Contemporary Arts degrees can be studied on campus at the Launceston-based Academy of the Arts or away from campus by distance mode. These degrees will provide high quality, recognised qualifications in a professional practice or workplace-orientated coursework program. They consist of a professional practice project, or series of projects, with the option of undertaking a text-based research project or professional placement, either in Australia or overseas.

To qualify for admission, all applicants must demonstrate, in an interview and presentation of a folio, their aptitude for undertaking the course of study.

 

Graduate Certificate in Contemporary Arts (Specialisation)

Location - Launceston, Distance
Fees - Commonwealth Supported
Intake - February and July
Duration - Minimum .5 years (1 sem), maximum 1 years (2 sem)

 

Graduate Diploma in Contemporary Arts (Specialisation)

Location - Launceston, Distance
Fees - Commonwealth Supported
Intake - February and July
Duration - Minimum 1 year (2 sem), maximum 2 years (4 sem)

 

Master of Contemporary Arts (Specialisation)

Location - Launceston, Distance
Fees - Commonwealth Supported
Intake - February and July
Duration - Minimum 1.5 years (3 sem), maximum 3 years (6 sem)
