The Nursing suite of courses offer registered nurses the opportunity to gain enhanced clinical knowledge and skills, in a range of specialist areas.
The School of Nursing & Midwifery aims to create an educational environment which values critical reflective thinking, life long learning and professional development, as well as providing an understanding of the importance of nursing leadership in advanced practice settings.
The nursing course is available on a part-time basis only, and is offered nationally. Most units are delivered fully online, although some include regional study days.

The course is made of up four specialised units, which are focused to the area of specialisation selected. The Graduate Certificate articulates to the Graduate Diploma.
Students need to be employed in the general area of the specialisation.
Graduate Diploma of Nursing

Intake - February, July (some specialisations)
Duration - Minimum 2 years (4 sem), maximum 4 years (8 sem) available part-time only
The Graduate Diploma provides an additional specialisation not available at the Graduate Certificate level. This is:

The aim of the Nursing Masters is to prepare advanced practice nurses for leadership roles in a range of clinical nursing settings.
The program allows students to develop new skills and in-depth knowledge, whilst offering career opportunities to interact with peers, and gain advanced specialist training.
