This course will provide additional skills, knowledge and academic advancement in the areas of agriculture, forestry, horticulture, soil and land management or sustainable resource management.

Information about the various study area are:

Agricultural Science
Targeted at those involved in agricultural industries and those interested in agricultural science. Extends the professional expertise of people working in areas related to agricultural crop and pasture production, animal production, crop protection, service industries to agriculture and agricultural research.

Horticultural Science
Aimed at those involved in horticultural industries and those interested in horticultural science. Extends the professional expertise of people working in areas related to horticultural crop production, crop protection, service industries to horticulture and horticultural science research.

Sustainable Resource Management
This area will extend the professional expertise of people working in areas related to agricultural production, soil and land management, service industries to agriculture and agricultural science research.

For the successful completion of the course, students are required to complete a number of coursework units, selected from a wide range of options, which can be tailored to the student's area of interest. Plus, a supervised research project.

This course can articulate to the Master of Applied Science, in the student's specialisation area.
